A Little About Me

Oops! I realize I made that post without even giving information about myself, I can be such a dork!

So here is the scoop:

I'm not going to go all the way back to babyhood...that would be pointless, so I'm going to start with meeting my husband!

It was 2007 and I was a junior in High school, weighed 140 pounds at 5'2(which has been my height forever...never changes!) But that is the year Zachary and I got together! During my Senior year I got pregnant...go figure right? ANYWAY....moving on, getting pregnant BLEW! (No offense to those who loved and wanted to be pregnant) I just wasn't ready for it...hadn't planned...blah blah blah, the list goes on. So I finished school in half a semester and then just had to wait around for my diploma. I could have gotten a job, but we lived with his mom, in her basement, and I just didn't see the need to...depression. lol I laugh about it now, but I really just stopped caring when I got pregnant, I mean, I ate...a lot and a lot of it was fruits and veggies...but the small stuff adds up. By the end of my pregnancy I ended up being like 280 pounds and yeah, most of that was baby weight..but still.

So I have Alexis, my daughter, June 28th, 2009 and it's a c-section. Which I have heard makes it more difficult to lose weight. So it's been 3 years since then and I have been a stay at home mom. I worked a seasonal job once...for a couple months, and I go to college. But I like being at home, taking care of cleaning and raising my daughter. I couldn't think of a better place for me.

Alexis is a real motivator for me. She is growing up so fast and now she is more active then ever and I can't really keep up, the worst thing I have experienced is when she ran ahead of me in a store and went around a corner faster then I could keep up. I was scared to death, even though I caught up because she stopped...but I kept having those "What if" thoughts running through my head. So I want to be healthy for me and for my daughter...and husband lol I'm sure it would help out my marriage too. Not that he is complaining, I ask him to be honest about everything he says and he did say that I should lose weight to become healthy, but that he loves me no matter what! AWWW :)

So anyway, here I am: 21 years old, married with a daughter and I'm trying to jump start my way into a healthy lifestyle!
